Peconic Pathfinders | Run-Walk-Hike | Paumanok Path www.peconicpathfinders.org Peconic Pathfinders was formed to find the hidden and lost trails, clean them up, maintain them and guide hikers and runners. We take a strong environmental stance and support local and global environmental groups.
Anyone can hike or run with us for free at every hike, run or activity but you will have to sign a waiver.
Some special events, such as running event, would require a fee as we put on events for fundraisers.
Membership has its benefits. Yearly membership will be from now till the end of 2025.
Membership will give you a voice. We need leaders! We will schedule an organizational meeting to start off the new year.
Membership is free! Optional Donation $10Membership is free, but a donation would help us with membership with Road Runners Club of America and insurance for hikes, runs, events and races.
Membership will put you on our e mail list so we can keep you informed on hikes and runs and special events.
Members can sign up for committees and can chair committees.
We need to know if you are a runner or a hiker and if you would like to be on one or more of our committees.
Committees will be formed for different tasks.

We recommend checking in and register with Peconic Pathfinders on a weekly basis to see where we will be hiking and running each week.

Join the Trail Maintenance Committee as we work on new and maintain existing trails. Join us on our
Maintenance Hikes on Wednesdays.
Events and Race Committees are being formed to help getting sponsors, organizing races, permits, water stops, refreshments.
Peconic Pathfinders is looking to organize events to benefit environmental groups and other non profit organizations.
We are proposing a Running Race Series (Hikers Welcome) to benefit community groups and non profits that work with the environment on Long Island. Contact us for more information. We encourage everyone to use the free
ITSYOURRACE app for workouts, hikes and runs and to register for races and events.
As hikers and runners we are concerned about our environment. We drink the water, we breath the air, we enjoy the nature around us.

Every Day is Earth Day or at least it should be.
All our events are Earth Events. Hiking, Walking, Running or maybe just having a good time.
Mark yourself interested and we will keep you informed about live dates, information and registration link when available. Please, no politics!
We do live hikes and runs 3 times a week locally.
Join us on Weekends and Wednesdays!
Most will be free events, with an optional donation.
Local Long Island, NY Events will be live.
We will have a Virtual Option for those that can't make it in person or if you are not from the area.
Earth Day is a Worldwide Event. We want to see people from all over the world.
You can invite you friends and family to join us wherever they are in the world on any day or time.
Everyone will have to register online and sign a waiver. (our insurance company insists)
We may have bling available to purchase if we get enough interest.
